Framebuffer der Standardinstallation anpassen

Um die größtmögliche Auflösung des Samsung P35 von 1400×1050 zu erhalten muss der Code 0x342 dem Bootloader übergeben werden. Da ich mich bei der Installation für den Bootloader grub entschieden habe, werden ich die vorgehensweise an diesem exemplarisch darstellen.

Wir bearbeiten dazu die Datei /boot/grub/menu.lst und fügen der Zeile

# kopt=root=/dev/hda4 ro noapic bootkbd=de acpi=off

Achtung: Diese Zeile kann von meiner Abweichen - dies ist nur ein Bsp!

den Zusatz vga=0x342 zu.

Die Zeile sieht somit folgendermaßen aus:

# kopt=root=/dev/hda4 ro noapic bootkbd=de acpi=off vga=0x342

Damit die Konfiguration gültig wird, muss noch der folgende Befehl ausgeführt werden:

update-grub

Anschließend kann der Rechner neu gestarten werden.
